The students and also the teaching and research staff benefit from more than 60 exchanges with partner universities worldwide. Several degree courses lead to international degrees. In addition International Engineering Programmes (IEP) of three months’ duration are offered to international students in the fields of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (IMEP), Computer Science/Engineering (ICEP), and Electrical Engineering (IEEP). The lectures are given in English and are accredited allowing the students to transfer credits back home.

Research and Development
Research and development projects in collaboration with industry and science – e.g. in the area of automation, energy engineering, medical engineering or service robotics – are highly valued at Ulm University of Applied Sciences. The Centre for Service Robotics, the Centre of Competence for Hydraulics, or the Automotive Centre with state-of-the art test benches provide perfect prerequisites.
